3 hours of my life, wasted

A while ago I went to the ol netflix queue and started putting on some movies of interest. and then i thought, why not put on some cheesy scifi? what could the cheesiest movie I could find? Battlefield Earth of course! bad move - this movie totally wasted 3 hours of my life, because not only did I watch it once, it was also on for an hour the next night because my wife had to finish it. So I ended up watching parts of it again. It is so terrible that I was absolutely astounded at the goon who rubber stamped this for production. what were they thinking? my favorite part is where the nuevo celtic clowns learn to pilot Harrier jets and have formed a flying squadron. not to even mention that after 1000 years, all the stuff still even works...
