Meet me halfway

Technology for organization is only as good as the user.  If you don't
make adequate use of the tools available, it's not the tool's fault,
it's your own.  For instance, most modern calendaring tools nowadays
have event reminder popups, SMS messengers, email notifications,
everything short of biting dogs, with bees in their mouths.  You have
to meet your computer halfway.

Last night and this morning I
neglected to check my calendar, and as such forgot to go to a meeting.
Every time this happens I swear to myself I'll get better organized,
but I think either a person's organized or they're not, and no amount
of technology is going to assist that person.  I hope that I'm at least making baby steps...
