disk encryption broken

Something I definitely hadn't thought of...

do any of you actually use full-disk encryption?

I've never bothered. Figure,

I've never bothered. Figure, anytime someone builds a wall someone will build a ladder just a bit taller. If they get physical hold of the disk, higher encryption levels just mean more time to crack, not necessarily more impossible to crack.
