Remote Desktop in Vista Laggy

This has been driving me crazy for a while. I'm a Mac user, running Parallels with Vista. When I RDP from Vista it's agonizingly slow. I figured it was because I was running Vista from an emulator, but nope! The problem is with Vista itself and here's the explanation and fix: Remote Desktop slow problem solved. Basically, in Vista, you just open a cmd line and enter:

netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

can you verify that that fix persistent across reboots? I also

can you verify that that fix persistent across reboots? I also love how the author is all stoked that you can modify QoS stuff in Windows like it's so very new. News bro - that kind of stuff has been around for a _long_ time in the *nixes (traffic shaping, iptables, ipfw, ipfilter). And I probably wouldn't mess much with a LAN node anyhow, save that for the decision making devices, such as gateways / firewalls.
